In principle, the punk fashion did not count as temporary fashion. Trough the specific kind of clothing it should voice an appointed political placement. So, a movement against the system and the state in general was founded. Namely the punk. Hence, punk expresses a special attitude towards life which had to anchor also in clothing, of course, to afford recognition value and to create a sense of belonging to a special group.

As a matter of principle, everything was available as an apparel because also in this point there should be no frontiers.
Eye-catchin in punk fashion is the misuse of things like dog collars which are worn as accessories by punks. Further, a modish guideline crystallised which largely counted on leather. Leather jackets, leather bracelets, leather boots and so on. The leather clothing and the accessories were provided with stakings which created the dangerous look.

To punk fashion also belong skinny jeans and tartan which is mainly acts as clothing for the legs. In addition, the kilt was also integrated in the punk fashion.
